New Lynk & Co SUV-coupe Spied Prototype Testing

A prototype SUV-coupe from Geely-owned Lynk & Co has been spied during winter testing in Germany. The styling of the prototype bears more than a passing resemblance to the firm鈥檚 first SUV, the 01; the headlight positioning and front end are largely carried over. However, from that point, the similarities end where the roofline begins to curve gently towards the subtle boot spoiler. With the rise in popularity for SUV-coupes, first seen with the BMW X4, it鈥檚 little surprise a new car maker is looking to tap into growing car markets. Sharing electrical technology, safety systems and engine options with the Volvo XC40, we expect the Lynk & Co SUV-coupe to be based on the CMA platform. That also means Volvo鈥檚 1.5-litre three-cylinder petrol, which is also available as a plug-in hybrid, should be carried over to the model. Lynk & Co鈥檚 current model offering consists of three cars: the 01 SUV, 02 compact crossover and the 03 saloon. These existing models are expected to be joined by the new SUV-coupe as well as a new hatchback and a larger SUV, based on the Volvo XC90 platform. Are you excited about the thought of another SUV-coupe?

Quattro permanent all-wheel drive technology, that eventually provides a superb driving expertise. The company has given this saloon series an mechanics structure, that is fitted with variety of placing options. This latest version comes with changed options, particularly to its front and rear profiles, that makes it capable for luring the shoppers. However, the foremost enticing facet concerning this saloon is that the Matrix headlights that includes twenty five junction rectifier lamps, which might be operated on an individual basis. This air dam is flanked by some of junction rectifier fog lamps.

Its aspect profile is meant with body coloured door handles and wing mirrors, whereas the B pillars are in high gloss black end. The manufacturer is providing this saloon series with a collection of fashionable solid metallic element alloy wheels as normal. However, people will elect 19-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels still, that ar out there as facultative. AN improved junction rectifier light setup that includes brake lights and switch indicators. Facelifted Audi Q7 Spied During Winter Testing

The updated version of Audi鈥檚 Q7 has been caught on camera during its winter testing programme. It appears to borrow a number of design cues from the Q8, the company鈥檚 recently-released flagship SUV. Exterior alterations to the new Q7 aren鈥檛 particularly dramatic. The front bumper has adopted the design of the larger Q8, with a shallower front grille and more defined side intakes. Also, the rear bumper now hides the exhaust tips under the body. Its LED headlights and tail-lights appear to have been borrowed from the current generation Audi Q8. As the Q7 and Q8 share the same MLB Evo platform, we expect more parts-sharing to occur between the models, with the smaller SUV borrowing the flagship鈥檚 dual 12.3-inch infotainment displays and driver convenience systems. A range of engines will likely be available, including a four-cylinder 2.0-litre petrol, a six-cylinder 3.0-litre petrol and a six-cylinder 3.0-litre diesel. A 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 diesel will sit at the top of the range in a new RS Q7 model, with around 430bhp and 900Nm of torque. Now read our review of the old Audi RS Q7.

The BMW X5 M reinforces its presence and functionality with its upright stature, long roofline and large window surfaces. By contrast, the BMW X6 M displays the unmistakable, dynamic lines of a BMW Sports Activity Coupe through its gently curved glasshouse, sloping roofline and pronounced wedge shape. M-specific features of both models include the familiar twin-stalk exterior mirrors with integral side indicators and optional display for the lane change assistant. Another signature element of models from BMW M GmbH are the gills in the front side panels featuring chrome trim that includes a model badge and Air Breather. The rear ends of the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M also differ significantly from their standard siblings, exuding a more exclusive aura and majoring on bold, sporty accents. This approach is underlined in particular by the wide rear tyres (which are a different size from the fronts), the distinctive M rear aprons painted in body colour and the hallmark M four-tailpipe exhaust. As with all cars from the BMW brand, the design of the interior prioritises intuitive, quick and error-free usability.

And M GmbH also makes its own distinctive mark here. For example, the BMW X5 M and BMW X6 M come with a newly developed, ergonomically optimised M leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, while the M gearshift lever has an equally distinctive design. The instrument cluster, M Drive menu in the information display, displays in the optional Head-Up Display and special multifunction switch with M Drive buttons on the steering wheel also fit the M template. The new BMW X5 M and new BMW X6 M come with an extensive range of exclusive equipment from the factory which illustrates their character as highperformance sports machines that can be used every day. Customers can also dip into a large selection of optional equipment with which to make their car even sportier, for example, or to satisfy the most exacting requirements in terms of comfort. BMW M GmbH has developed the BMW M Laptimer app for smartphones so customers can access extensive analysis of their personal driving style on the track.

With the smartphone linked up to the car, the BMW M Laptimer app can be operated using the iDrive Controller. The app records the car鈥檚 speed, lateral and longitudinal acceleration, the gear currently engaged, steering angle and accelerator position. This data can subsequently be used to precisely analyse the driver鈥檚 actions and reactions at the various points around the track via graphic displays on the customer鈥檚 smartphone. Another feature allows two recordings on the same track to be compared corner-bycorner. The readings used here can be either the driver鈥檚 own or data shared by other drivers via email. The list of exclusive M options includes a fully electric M multifunction seat in Merino leather. This seat variant stands out with its integral head restraint and specially formed bolsters around the seat cushion and shoulders to further improve lateral support. Active seat ventilation is available for the M multifunction seat as an option.

The new M models can be treated to yet a further upgrade in the form of Merino full-leather appointments, carbon-fibre interior trim strips and two new and exclusive M paint finishes (Long Beach Blue metallic and Donington Grey metallic). The high-performance character of the new BMW X5 M and new BMW X6 M is further emphasised by the standard Launch Control feature adapted from its application in racing cars. BMW Individual offers customers buying a new BMW X5 M or new BMW X6 M the chance to personalise and customise their car well beyond the means provided by standard specification and the options list. The BMW Individual range comprises two areas. The BMW Individual Collection brings together items of equipment selected to suit the individual model series perfectly, including exclusive paint finishes, high-quality leather appointments and interior trim strips. Also available are an Alcantara roof liner and technical features such as a cool box and additional reading lights. The BMW Individual Manufactory, meanwhile, brings particularly extravagant customer requests to life.

2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Spied Nearly Naked

Perhaps the best thing about this latest round of spy shots for the refreshed Porsche Cayman GT4 is what we can鈥檛 see. In truth, we see pretty much everything, and as you鈥檇 come to expect from Porsche the changes are minimal. We spy slightly redesigned side air scoops, and the lower fascia is a touch more aggressive than the previous GT4. The rear fascia is definitely more aggressive with a tweaked diffuser and relocated exhaust outlets. The taillights are also different, and the wing seems even larger than before. There is one tiny bit of camouflage still left on the car, however, and it鈥檚 freaking hilarious. Take a close look up front and you鈥檒l see the smallest bit of black wrap that coincidently is in the exact spot one would find a Porsche crest. Clearly someone back at Stuttgart has seen a bit too much Superman because this Clark Kent attempt at disguising the car - especially when it still says Porsche on the back - is just plain funny. Amusing as it is, that鈥檚 not what we鈥檙e talking about with the bits we can鈥檛 see. Lurking beneath that rear cover is what should make this refreshed GT4 a bona fide superhero. Our sources still tell us the car will brandish a detuned version of the 4.0-liter flat-six from the 911 GT3. Those same sources have already confirmed the car will offer either a PDK gearbox or a manual transmission, and with at least 400 horsepower expected, the GT4 should be all kinds of giddy fun. As the striptease seems all but complete (save for that stubborn tape up front), it won鈥檛 be long before we get all the official information. We鈥檝e heard the Clubsport version will debut first in early 2019, so the road version should follow shortly thereafter.

2,000) were of great interest, but they aren鈥檛 yet available. 1,620, especially if you do a lot of parking in tight spots. 660 gets you the towing package, and with a towing capacity of a whopping 7,700 pounds, it鈥檚 worth it. Of course, we鈥檝e barely mentioned the fact this is indeed a plug-in hybrid. There are four separate driving modes: EV, or electric only; H, a hybrid automatic setting that lets the engine kick in as needed; and Sport and Sport Plus鈥攖hose last two have the V-6 engine running all the time. Porsche showed us a bare chassis, and it鈥檚 amazing how little space the 14.1-kWh battery pack takes up, sitting beneath the seemingly uncompromised rear luggage floor. Porsche doesn鈥檛 have an EPA rating yet, but a European test suggests pure electric power will last about 27 miles, with an all-electric top speed of 83 mph. Porsche doesn鈥檛 have EPA numbers on the base Cayenne with this V-6 engine, so we can鈥檛 even make an educated guess as to the E-Hybrid鈥檚 numbers based on that. The EPA rated the 2018 Cayenne S E-Hybrid at 47 mpg-e combined city/highway, and 22 mpg combined city/highway on gasoline.

The battery should recharge in about 2.3 hours with a 230-volt, 32-amp outlet and the aforementioned optional 7.2-kW onboard charger. Expect it to take 7.8 hours with a 230-volt/10-amp outlet and the standard 3.6-kW charger. The plug-in outlet is behind a flap on the driver鈥檚-side rear fender; there鈥檚 an identical flap on the passenger side for gasoline. On the road, this is about as seamless as hybrids get. The regenerative braking system, as it often does, results in an odd pedal feel, but the more you drive it, the less it annoys you. Steering feel could use a little work, though. On the mostly smooth roads around Montpellier, the Cayenne鈥檚 ride was supple, never punishing on even the roughest pavement we encountered. On tight turns, the 5,060-pound E-Hybrid鈥攖hat鈥檚 683 pounds heavier than the base Cayenne鈥攕eemed a little under-tired. Inside, the E-Hybrid has just the right amount of electro-information; it doesn鈥檛 club you over the head with pointed suggestions that you are wasting energy, but you can monitor how you are doing. The instrument panel is modern and viewer-friendly, and the big, mostly horizontal center screen is an effective focal point for the rest of the dashboard. This is an easy vehicle to get comfortable with, something we haven鈥檛 always been able to say about Porsches. Even without the massage function, front seats are comfortable and supportive, with room in the back for three actual adults. Outside, this third-generation Cayenne is the most handsome of the three, looking nothing at all like the 鈥渟tretched and swollen Boxster鈥?that so offended The New York Times 16 years ago. Porsche is mum on sales projections, but it doesn鈥檛 take Nostradamus to predict the 2019 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid should do quite well.

Data determined in accordance with the measurement method required by law. Since September 01, 2017 certain new cars have been type approved in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP), a more realistic test procedure to measure fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. From September 01, 2018 the WLTP will replace the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC). Due to the more realistic test conditions, the fuel consumption and CO2 emission values determined in accordance with the WLTP will, in many cases, be higher than those determined in accordance with the NEDC. Currently, we are still obliged to provide the NEDC values, irrespective of the testing method used. The additional reporting of the WLTP values is voluntary until their obligatory use. As far as new cars, (which are type approved in accordance with the WLTP) are concerned, the NEDC values will therefore be derived from the WLTP values during the transition period. To the extent that NEDC values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. They are intended solely as a means of comparing different types of vehicle. Extra features and accessories (attachments, tyre formats etc.) can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics. Additionally, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual handling, can affect the fuel consumption, electricity consumption, CO鈧?emissions and performance values of a car.

New Audi A4 Avant Spied Testing

The latest version of the new Audi A4 Avant has been caught on camera during its winter testing regime. Due for release in 2019, it will likely follow Audi鈥檚 revised A4 saloon into the showrooms. BMW and Mercedes have both recently released new versions of their 3-Series and C-Class models. To keep pace with its competitors, Audi鈥檚 revisions to the A4 are extensive with the company spending 拢500 million on development. Audi鈥檚 design refresh will bring the new A4 into line with the rest of the company鈥檚 range. This mule sports Audi鈥檚 new 鈥渇ace,鈥?as seen on the latest A6 and A8, with a slightly smaller front grille and new headlights. An updated rear bumper with squared-off exhaust outlets, new tail-lights and a fresh rear spoiler also feature. It鈥檚 difficult to be certain at this stage, due to this mule鈥檚 heavy camouflage, but we expect larger panels, such as the roof, wings and bonnet will also be axed in favour of updated replacements. The new A4 Avant鈥檚 cabin is likely to change, too. Like the saloon, the Avant will receive a new pair of infotainment screens, with a choice of either an 8.8- or 10.1-inch central unit accompanying a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster in the range-topping models. Audi鈥檚 engineers are also planning revisions to the new A4鈥檚 suspension and running gear, but these mechanical updates are yet to be confirmed. We do know that the brand aims to sell electrified variants of all its models by 2025, however, so expect mild-hybrid versions of the new A4 Avant to feature in the line-up.

2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Spied, PDK Rumors Still Hot

Zuffenhausen's new vehicle development motor is working at full pace these days, with the most recent example of this coming from the 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4. Our spy shooters have recently crossed paths with the sharpest mid-engined Porscha around, which is now in its advanced development stages. Unlike the early 718 Cayman GT4 test cars, the one we have here sports dedicated front and rear fascias, with the new aprons showing just how aggressive the aero package of the newcomer will be. Interestingly, the 718 Boxster Spyder, which we spied earlier this week, still comes with the provisional Sport Design bumper, which, by the way, is standard on the freshly-revealed GTS models. When it comes to the tech side of the 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4, the wildest rumors out there talk about the sportscar packing the new 4.0-liter flat-six introduced by the 2018 GT3. Of course, with the mill, which is based on the flat-six heart of the GT3 Cup racecar, delivering 500 horses on the 911 GT3, we're expecting the motor to be downtuned for the mid-engined animal. Since the now-retired Cayman GT4 packs 385 hp, extracted from the also-retired 991.1 Carrera S' 3.8-liter, the newcomer should deliver at least 400 ponies. Until we get our hands on more info, we can at least jump for joy knowing that the GT4 badge means that the mid-engined animal will maintain its naturally aspirated aura. And while we've already shown you a 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 prototype packing a manual gearbox, forum chat also mentions the possibility of an optional PDK. Alas, we're expecting Porche to stick to the reverse-911-GT3-RS recipe (the recently-spied 991.2 Neunelfer won't follow the GT3 down the manual path) for the 718 GT4, which means the sportscar should only be offered in three-pedal form. Even so, expect the new GT4 to be a serious threat for its rear-engined big brother.

As BMW gears up for the official reveal of the new Z4 Roadster, a series of patent images allegedly showing the full production version of the new open-top two-seater sports car has found its way online. This is the first time we can clearly see what the brand new Z4 will look like. As expected, the production version borrows heavily from last year鈥檚 Z4 Concept which served as a preview. According to these patent images, the new Z4 will retain the classic long nose-short rear proportions and soft top, with the cabin sitting closer to the rear axle and the front end dominated by BMW鈥檚 wide kidney grille. BMW recently revealed a few details about the upcoming new Z4, mentioning that the range-topping version will be the M40i. The fastest derivative of the new Bavarian roadster -at least initially- will be powered by a new 鈥渆xtremely powerful鈥?six-cylinder engine. The most recent reports talk about a twin-turbo 3.0-liter unit making between 360 hp and 380 hp. The upcoming BMW Z4 M40i will also feature a lowered sports suspension with electronically controlled dampers, along with a new front axle and a locking rear differential. BMW promises that the new Z4 will be a 鈥減urebred roadster鈥? It will interesting to see if the new Bavarian Z will finally become a true Porsche Boxster rival, given that the chassis was co-developed with Toyota as it鈥檚 also going to be used in the new Supra.

The report said the next-generation M3 will lead the charge with a 2019 debut, potentially at the Frankfurt motor show. The plan's architect, Frank van Meel, head of BMW鈥檚 performance car division, called the M3 a cornerstone for the M division and cast the car as a guiding light forward for M Performance cars. BMW poached the executive from Audi in 2014, where he ran Audi Sport, formerly Quattro. BMW's next M3 will reportedly not go hybrid as previous reports have suggested. Instead, an upgraded version of BMW M鈥檚 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-6 engine will power the car. Better news: a 6-speed manual is on the table, as is an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power may rise to 472 horsepower with the upgrades, and the M3 will not offer BMW's latest xDrive all-wheel-drive system, per the report's sources. With the M3 holding down the fort, 15 M Performance cars will continue development, including versions of the X2 and forthcoming X7.

Current M Performance models include the M240i, M550i xDrive, M760i, and X4 M40i xDrive. These models aren't as sporting as true M cars, but they do have additional power, sporty suspensions, and upgraded brakes. These models should not be confused with BMW's M Sport models, which have M design cues but no extra power. For instance, the M Sport components on a 330i include an M sport suspension, unique 18-inch wheels, Shadowline exterior trim, an aero kit, a sunroof, satellite radio, an M steering wheel, keyless access and starting, and lumbar support adjustments. That'll improve performance, but only a bit. Have no fear, though, because BMW has 11 new true M cars cooking as well. While M Performance handles more mid-range cars, M will also take its talents to the top with more track-focused models. It began with the M4 CS, but an M3 CS will soon join the range. Next year, the report's sources added an M2 CS will arrive as well.

PORSCHE 718 CAYMAN GT4 SPIED

The brand new GT4 will follow in the footsteps of this previous version, which required Porsche鈥檚 mid-engined sportscar and flipped it in to a weapon. Since that car was published, Porsche has subbed the atmospheric flat six from the Cayman to get a turbo-charged four-cylinder unit. Expect the GT4 to buck the trend, as an alternative working together with the 3.8-litre engine by the motor sports 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport and also perhaps the 4.0-litre engine utilised from the 991.2 911 GT3. Considering that the latter was forced to pass emissions standards together with a PDK and also a manual transmission, so we鈥檇 suggest it鈥檚 much more inclined. The amount of power it is likely to create isn鈥檛 crystal clear, however, the previous GT4 was trained to depart the 911 GT3 a room beneath the operation tree. Do not expect it to improve. When compared with this normal 718 Cayman, the GT4 may obtain a gigantic (possibly flexible ) back wing sitting to the back deck, together with an even more competitive back diffuser compared to stock. The wheels are larger in relation to stockthe wheels skimpier (even though they are able to be pre production components ), and also the auto鈥檚 overall posture reduced and meaner. In advance, there exists a more profound splitter and deep, Lowset atmosphere intakes.

At the front, the aero package includes a new apron with more pronounced air intakes, bordered by autoclave-made carbon parts, the original Ferrari grille, and a carbon front lip (available in a matte or glossy finish). Viewed from the side, the car looks more muscular thanks to the carbon side skirts with integrated air shaft and the 21-inch Loma GTC-SL Superlight forged wheels. Available in two designs, the rims are shod with 255/30 ZR21 tires on the front axle and 305/25 ZR21 rubber on the rear axle. Although larger, Loma鈥檚 wheels are 20 percent lighter than the standard rims. If 21 inches is not a big enough size for some customers, Loma also offers 22-inch rear wheels. The Loma LP-740 2.0 kit for the Ferrari Portofino also includes a suspension that鈥檚 been lowered by 30mm at the front and 25mm at the rear. As for the rear end, the kit brings a more sculpted bumper that integrates a redesigned diffuser with more powerful fins. Other updates include a carbon trim piece connecting the taillights, and a subtle boot lid spoiler. The LP-740 moniker is a clear hint to Lamborghini, as the Portofino鈥檚 engine has been tweaked to deliver Aventador levels of performance. Thanks to modified engine software mapping and a sports exhaust system, the 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine now delivers greater power and torque. It will go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds, before maxing out at 342 km/h.

Just a brief through about this car, the color chosen here is Snow White Pearl which looks awesome under the sun! The car specification is not the exact main point I want to focus on. The main point here I want to share is the services and customer interaction provided by Grand Motors Sdn Bhd. When we confirmed wanting to the buy KIA Koup, I immediately look for my relative who had purchased a few KIA before from this particular salesperson. I managed to get hold of his contact and called him up and immediately the following day he visited me privately at my shop. He provided me a brochure and run through what specifications and colors is available. The color and gearbox were chosen and then I was told the car will be ready with all the paper work and procedures in 4 days. I was skeptical about delivering car in 4 days.

Nevertheless, we received the car on the 6th day after confirmation and payment. I was so surprised it took them less then 1 week to get the car register and have it on the road! Why am I surprise you say? Well, JEEP took over one month to be registered(1 month 2 weeks to be exact!), my Dodge about 3 weeks, my MINI about 2 weeks and my previous Peugeot took the agent almost a month to be deliver to me. Talk about comparing fast and slow services! I don't know why it took these dealers so damn long to register a car when KIA can do it in 6 days! Next point, before collecting the car on the delivery day. We were greeted at the showroom because the sale rep would like to go through the final paper work and a demonstration of a few features to my sibling. After that we were greeted by another lady, who runs through all the warranty and what-not to my sister. I am really impress with this kind of thorough services. I don't recall Mercedes Benz, BMW or Porsche providing this kind of services when we bought our cars! And the best part of buying KIA is the peace of mind of 5 years factory warranty! The only company in Brunei that gives out more then 4 years warranty is FORD. The remaining players in Brunei only provide 2-3years warranty. Yes, I ain't kidding. BMW, MINI and Porsche only provided 2 years warranty! I finally understand why KIA has risen from nothing to something around the world. They truly had step-up big time to compete with the Japanese and maybe the German with their K900 which we do not get in Brunei.
