Manhart has unveiled the next best thing; a pumped-up version of the M850i. The BMW M850i currently sits atop the 8-Series range and while it does have an M badge, it isn鈥檛 a fully-fledged M model. However, with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 delivering 523 hp and 750 Nm of torque, some would argue that no one really needs anything more. Modifications enjoyed by the M850i start with the engine and include a software optimization package that lifts grunt to 621 hp and 870 Nm of torque. In all likelihood, those figures will be greater than both the upcoming M8 and M8 Competition models and should be more than enough for even the most power-hungry customers. With the engine taken care of, Manhart turned its attention to tweaking the sexy coupe鈥檚 exterior. To do so, a set of H&R lowering springs have been fitted alongside a set of 21-inch wheels. Additionally, there鈥檚 four carbon tipped tailpipes, a small carbon fiber rear slip, and a carbon front splitter. Visual alterations have been completed with a number of gold graphics across the exterior. Thankfully, these accents are optional. Manhart hasn鈥檛 released performance figures for its tuned M850i but the car will inevitably reach 100 km/h in the low 3-second range. Pricing details have yet to be announced. 12,000 more than a standard M850i costs from the factory.
In regards to Porsche there is a mix of both types of information searching but the most prevalent method is the internal one. To help with a proper decision the consumer may also evaluate alternatives. Porsche has positioned itself in the car industry has a historical and Luxury/performance based brand. The 鈥渃ar enthusiasts鈥?buy what they know can perform the best and that has longevity. For Porsche, this helps dwindle the evaluation of alternatives for their potential consumers. Next within the process is purchase. Porsche has had a rather GREAT first quarter in sales and seem to be improving. Lastly, when a consumer makes a purchase they assume certain outcomes, preferably a positive one, with that product. The only way the expectations are met comes from whether the consumer has been satisfied or not. This aspect of the process would be considered the post purchase behavior. According to the numbers and statistics of the sales mentioned in previous posts, I can firmly say that the consumers are satisfied with the Porsche products.

The BMW i8 is the zen-like, sustainable, low-emissions, petrol-electric, 鈥榥ew premium鈥?German sports car of the future. Expressions of concept don鈥檛 get much more complicated. But, while the two most important words in that string get crowded out by their louder neighbours, they are undoubtedly 鈥榮ports car鈥? Or rather they should have been - written in bold, enlarged, indelible type. Unfortunately - predictably, perhaps - that probably wasn鈥檛 quite how it was. Because the i8 turns out to be a car of incredible visual impact, laudably mature execution, and offers a uniquely appealing ownership proposition. But drive it and you won't be acquainting yourself with the undeniable perfect future of the sports car - but instead a BMW that doesn't deliver the engaging edge an enthusiast might expect. It should be like a Porsche 918 Spyder for a fifth of the outlay. It鈥檚 certainly got some promising ingredients. And here鈥檚 the clever bit.
